The world’s most environmental organic shampoo.
We originally produced shampoo for our sponsor under his guidance. His scalp reacted badly to commercial shampoos and he introduced us to a more natural botanical version that we could basically grow and create from our farms. So we grew and made shampoo for him. Over time we began to realise that the shampoo could have a wider audience and also help reduce plastic waste in Bali.
Plastic beach waste is a very visible form of pollution on an island like Bali. But it’s not the worst of the environmental pollution caused by mass industrialisation and modern living. But reducing plastic waste on a tourist island is still a significant motivation, especially if there is a way to also reduce reliance on industrial production.
As organic farmers we are always chipping away at big industrial. Trying to loosen their stranglehold on consumer products and hopefully release a few crumbs to agriculture.
“Agriculture instead of factories” became our mantra. Lots of product development drew our attention, but its with shampoo and conditioner that we knew we had real traction and natural advantages. After years of experimentation we achieved success. Creating a shampoo refined from the most exclusive ingredients we could source from across the Indonesian archipelago.
We went explicitly pure and natural.
Explicitly environmental.
Exquisite ingredients.
We allowed the spices and essential oils of Bali and Indonesia tell their story through the shampoo. It’s actually a journey into the botanical treasures of South east Asia.
Seeking out the most exquisite oils and spices allowed us, over the years, to design shampoos that were precious in Indonesia and extraordinarily difficult to recreate outside it.
From the outset we knew we had a natural advantage, living in the midst of one of the world’s richest botanical hotspots. With the addition of great farmer networks, we knew we could grow a shampoo that was rural or nature based rather than industrial.
Years later, and with the full commitment and support of our farm networks we have developed the skills to make our nature based shampoos a reality.
A shampoo range so utterly natural, and unequivocally the most environmentally responsible shampoo anywhere in the world. Using the rarest and most beautiful oils and spices south east Asia can offer. Including Oudh, cinnamon, jasmine, clove blossom, ylang ylang, massoia, vetiver, frangipani, patchouli, tamanu, sandalwood, piperbetle.
